The record (5.04m) just happened. Monaco is my hometown and it's my first competition since I've been here. It motivates me. I'm in a good shape, I just need to keep my condition until the Olympic Games. I wanted to improve my personnal best and that's what I did. I see this world record first as a personal one.

It was good, a no problem race. Very quick. Unfortunately I'm not going to Beijing but I'm hoping I can make the team for the World Championships next year. For now I'm good and I want to run quick.

It was a good competition tonight. I jumped my personal best in London 3 days ago (2.38m), maybe I was a bit tired tonight. But winning this meeting makes me feel confident for the future and the olympic games.

It was a BAD race, I hit a lot of hurdles and never got going, it kind of knocked me out of rhythm. I tried to regain my composure and managed to finish strong overtaking the guys who were in the lead. I was relying on my finish to take the win. The time is decent, it's great to win in Europe, it's important because a win on the European circuit is hard to come by. About the absence of Dayron Robles: Its ok, we'll run against each other in the important race and that is at the Olympics. I wanted to come here to work on a few things, I didn't really do that but I'll take the win, that's all that matters now. It's good to know that even when I have a bad day I can go home with the win.

Overall, it was a good race I definetely can't complain. When I step on a track I always step up to compete and I only think about the time after but obviously I always aim at running faster, that's what we're here for. The Jamaican team definetely speaks for itself. The plan in Beijing is to go 1-2-3.

I am very impressed with my race, happy with the way I ran. I've been working on my finish, running through the line. Of course there is still a lot of room for improvement. Going into Beijing I feel very good, very fresh. I'm not surprised about my time. It was a nil wind reading so if I had a +1 I would have run even faster. I'm definetely in World record shape, in very good shape! The injury is gone completely but I'm not as strong as I should be so I'm still working on my strength.

I can't believe it. It's wow. Through the race I felt I was very close to Brigitte so when I saw her time I thought yeah I was real close, this must be a personal best. To have broken the Australian record is fabulous. The secret of my success is just good coaching, good Australian weather, staying focus and staying fit and fast!

I expected a good performance because I trained very well. I hope I'll do better in Beijing, it will be necessary do jump more than 7m to have a medal. 7.12 is good, I'm on the way.

I feel real good with this performance, knowing that I was training very hard last week. I wasn't even prepared to run here. So I'm happy to run a season's best it gives me confidence and I hope I can bring this momentum to the Beijing Olympic Games. The Jamaican team is real strong from the 400m Hurdles all the way down to the 100m and I'm proud to be part of this great team. My goal in Beijing? Definetely a medal.

I felt great during the race. I didnt' hurt hurdles but hurdles are not the most important thing, you also have to run fast. I win relaxed and I'm happy for it. It is good for the future.
